Dalton has five years of experience in the extensive use of computer-aided drafting (CAD) software in the civil, structural, and transportation engineering industries. Dalton also has experience in 3D modeling programs, such as Revit and Rhino 5 with V-Ray rendering, and in the engineering basics of architectural performance design, including the understanding of building lighting and electrical systems, environmental controls, structural systems, exterior envelopes, and site design.

Prior to joining Gibson Transportation Consulting, Dalton served an internship with Great River Engineering in Southern Missouri, performing construction inspections and managing drawing sets for a structural renovation of the Fulbright Water Treatment Plant near Springfield, MO, as well as local county and state infrastructure projects in southern Missouri.

Dalton graduated from Missouri University of Science & Technology with a degree in Architectural Engineering and moved to Southern California to pursue structural engineering coursework at the University of Southern California.
